Tsiz Mpizz is a postmodern Greek soul kitchen mezze bar, located between Agios Demetrios Church and Crypt, Aristotelous Square and only 100 meters from the Ancient Roman Forum, right in the heart of Thessaloniki’s historical center. Placed by Thessaloniki’s most famous bazaar of antiques, rare books and records and handmade artifacts (ΜΠΙΤ ΠΑΖΑΡ), Tsiz Mpizz is the ideal alternative for food, drinks, coffee and fun!
Established in 2013 by George, 29, Tsiz Mpizz is as fresh and new as its people. Chef George and his fellow chef Billy, having worked in 5* Hotels and gourmet restaurants all over Greece, gathered their experience and combined them with the secret recipes of their grandmothers. They put together a team of young people, who will be more than happy to serve you and also guide you through the most alternative things to do and see in the city.
In Tsiz Mpizz you can enjoy dishes that combine the Mediterranean, the Balkan and the Turkish cuisine, in a real “mix and match” food. Fresh vegetables, feta and manouri cheese, fresh little fish and shrimps, salted fish, handmade dips, grilled and sautéed raw meat, spices and herbs, all cooked with extra virgin olive oil , our dishes will offer you a real culinary experience. In Tsiz Mpizz you will also find a great variety of vegetarian dishes, cooked with recipes that date back in time.
Accompany your food with ouzo, tsipouro and grape rakia (traditional Greek spirits), Greek wine and beer of the best quality. In Tsiz Mpizz you can also enjoy coffee and herbal tea, with bio-herbs carefully selected from the nearby mountains (mountain tea, linden, hippofaes and chamomile).
From 11:00 0’clock in the morning until 03:00 o’clock in the (next!) morning, Tsiz Mpizz is expecting you in the most friendly and familiar environment, with traditional Thessaloniki’s music of the mid-30’s (rebetiko), revised in a funky mood. Enjoy a full menu with only 5-12€ per person!
